In an effort to best serve both our students and staff, we are going to be offering an ‘in-school’ disciplinary setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This may serve as a place for students to be assigned in lieu of suspension and/or may serve as a place for students to go for the remainder of a class period. The goal will be for students to not become repeat offenders, so there will be teaching/coaching that accompanies their time there. There may be some sensory components added and the person in this role may also serve as a check-in check-out safe space for some of our students utilizing a behavior tracking sheet and goal setting.
