Welcome to Success@FLS – a before and after school program to help students in grades 6-12. The program runs October through April!

The program is here to provide:

Homework Help
Math and Reading Skill Building
Credit Recovery Help at the HS /level
Career Exploration and Readiness

Dates and Times:

Before School Homework Help is every morning from 6:45am until 7:45am – Please note that Morning sessions are canceled any time that Fairlawn is on a delay or closed!

Morning Locations:

Monday and Tuesday – HS gym with Mr. Heckman

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – in room 121 with Mrs. Parker

After School Sessions

Monday and Wednesday – MS student sessions – 3:15pm to 5:00pm

Tuesday and Thursday – HS students sessions – 3:15pm to 5:00pm

All sessions meet in the cafeteria after school.

Typical After School Lesson Plan

3:15 – 3:30 – Snack

3:30 – 3:45 – Physical Activity

3:45 – 4:00 – Career Exploration on Naviance

4:00 – 4:45 – Homework Help and Skill Building

4:45 – 5:00 – Wrap Up and Head Home

A bus is provided to get students home at the end of each after school session. Parents may also opt to pick up their students. We ask all parents picking up students be here at 4:45 so that we can dismiss from the program in a timely manner.

Extra Activities – We also incorporate extra activities throughout the year. These include career speakers, student organization weeks with FFA, FCCLA and Drama Club as well as field trips!

Incentives – Students have the chance to earn rewards and incentives by attending the program!

Fall Incentive – All students who attend at least 5 sessions by December 16th will be entered into a drawing for a total of $800 in gift cards!
